With my sister Donna in town this week, I grabbed my roller blades and we headed to my favorite spot in Central Park. I wasn't quite brave enough to compete with the pros whizzing by on their skates while balancing water bottles on their heads. But on the other hand, I stayed upright the whole time and didn't have any skating disasters either! Couldn't convince Donna to give it a try though...

Great photos, Donna!! Basia, what no helmet?? You look pretty cool in all that gear; & another month, I expect to see a photo w/ a water bottle balanced on your head!!

Sharon: Only the geeks wear helmets. You don't want me to look like a geek, do you? Yes, I'm aiming for the water bottle balanced on head thing too. But I suspect it will take a bit more than a month for that to happen...
