I don't believe people who say they have no regrets. How can you live a lifetime and never have any regrets? Here are some of mine:
- That I didn’t find out the story behind The Bride.
- That when I lived in New Zealand, I didn't take advantage of it to visit the Australian island of Tasmania.
- That I didn’t kick this perv’s treasure.
- That I didn’t get serious about yoga earlier in life.
- That I never finished the capstone project for my second Master’s degree. It's not like I need yet another degree, but...it still feels like unfinished business.
- That I was THIS close to Mt. Everest Base Camp, and had to turn back.
- That I didn’t learn more Tamil while in India.
- That I was in New York City on New Year’s Eve once, and didn't join the revelers on Times Square.
- That I never learned to play a musical instrument (I know, it’s never too late, but…)
- That I didn’t take more pictures (this is just a general regret that I always seem to have, no matter how many pictures I take!)
What are YOUR regrets?

Among others--That I didn't visit you in New Zealand.

Good thing you wised up and came to visit me in India, eh?

I regret deserting you during the downtown 4th of July celebration many years ago when you didn't want to leave when I did. I didn't realize you would have to later walk home through dangerous neighborhoods. You could have been assaulted! I did offer you a ride when I left, but still, I really should have stayed.

I don't think it's possible to not have regrets. Definitely something for me to think about.
