I didn't include my favorite veggie in the previous post, because it deserves a post all its own. ;o)
Some would argue that corn is not even a vegetable; it's a grain. Whatever. All I know is, I can eat it three times a day. And sometimes do.
Child with armful of corn-on-the-cob -- Chennai, India
Cornmobile -- Pondicherry, India
Cornmeal -- Pushkar, India
American sweet corns - Rajastan, India
Pensive corn girl -- Ooty, India
Corn husking at Koyambedu Market -- Chennai, India
Corn on a stick -- Marina Beach, Chennai, India
Roasted corn -- Hyderabad, India
Corn drying -- Bhutan
My second-favorite vegetable will be more difficult to pay tribute to. Potatoes are not nearly as photogenic as golden corn...

I'll have to show this to Dan. He and I have the 'it's not a vegetable conversation"at least once a month. He counts corn as a veg. and I have to continue to educate him and you. It does look great in pictures.

I never thought of corn as photogenic, but it truly is in these photos. The first one is priceless!

DonnaK: Sorry Donna, as indicated in the link, the vote is 46 to 14 that it's a vegetable...I'm with Dan on this one...;o)
sister M: Yeah, she's darling, isn't she?
Jewels: Oh, it's definitely one of THE most photogenic vegetables (at least for me...)

Wooowiiee. I love corn too. And sweet corn too :D Actually, I like all kindsa corn. What with living away from home and all, corn practically finds a place in my platter almost everyday! Being a vegetarian, I cant find much to eat in the USA :-/
