Finally! My guide is here and we have a flight booked out of Kathmandu for 6 AM. So barring any further disasters, 12 hours from now I'll be on my way to the mountains. Yeay! I will be very relieved not to be squandering any more of my precious vacation time cooped up in a hotel. I think our first pit stop on the trek will have internet access, so I may be able to blog tomorrow as well.
Now, I just have the Maoist terrorists in the mountains to worry about, instead of the gun-toting cops... :o)
