That was a lot of fun seeing all the fellow commenters! I bet you get a lot of comments on this entry! -- Sheila
"Did my comment get erased?" --Donna
Yes indeed, the Meet The Commenters posting attracted a record number of comments. But several of you were disappointed to find that a couple days later, your comments seemed to have disappeared.
Your comments are still there, they are just not immediately visible if you access the site through the home page. Only 5 comments at a time get displayed--the 5 most recent ones. I would like to have all comments showing, but this is a restriction that Blog City has, it's not something I have control over.
You can see all the comments for a blog entry by clicking the More Comments link. Or, you can open the individual blog entry. Click on the month link ("March 2005), then from the list of titles, click on the blog entry ("Meet the Commenters"). All of the comments will be visible.
Keep On Commenting!

"Thanks for reminding me how desperately I need a new picture!" --Ron Walker
What I was really hoping to do was to post your Harding High School picture - but I didn't have my yearbook with me here, so you were safe... :o)

"My Gosh-- I sure don't look like that anymore- I will send a newer picture of me!! That was 25 years ago! How funny.... I also don't have a pic of that large zuch that we grew. What a wonderful way for all of us to see each other!!!!!! I must say, I hope you stay in India longer- I will miss this BLOG!" -- Shannon
Would love to see a newer pic! We should have entered that killer zuch in some Future Gardeners of America contest or something - I think we had a winner on our hands...

"I'm a big fan." --GW Bush
"What type of journalistic fact-finding and authentication occurs before posting?" -Mic (Mickey Mouse)
There is absolutely no authentication on this blog board, Mic. But I'm pretty sure GW is who he says he is. You'll notice that while your post, Mickey, is full of big words like journalistic and authentication, the words in Dubya's post are all three letters or less. That would be consistent with a profile of this character.
Hmmmm....postings from Baby Bush and Mickey Mouse within a minute of each other--and under the same IP number. Coincidence? I think not! Superman and Clark Kent were also frequently found in vicinity of each other....

The things you find out about your sister by surfing the Internet, eh?

"Please help!!! I can now read the blog, but I can't make comments!!! (It's like being told I can't talk EEEEEEK)" --Lesley
Is there anyone else who has had problems with making comments, and figured out what the problem was? If so, can you let me know how you fixed it? I can't have my readers be rendered speechless...
