A highlight of our visit to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was a visit to a butterfly park. Vasanthi made a new best friend (left); this little guy landed on her shirt and did not leave for a half hour. She had to pry him off.
Me - I ran around like a maniac with my camera, shooting every butterfly in sight. After about two hours, I think Vasanthi's patience was wearing thin. She finally had to pry me away from the butterflies! --Basia, it's very hot. It's very humid. Are you ready to leave yet? --I just need one more picture for the blog, Vas, just one more, I promise... See, I'm always thinking about my blog readers... :o) |

Many thanks to Vasanthi for her saintly patience. The butterflies are gorgeous....and how beautiful to see them in a park rather than a butterfly room. My little nephew was taken into one or them and when it was time to go, they didn't allow you to touch the butterflies to remove them....and was in that room a very LONG time...I guess they become very attached to certain people.
Sidenote: They are releasing a remake of the Exorcist movie now.....first released our Freshman year at Fairfield....I'm not sure I ever apologized for leaving all the lights on that night....that head thing freaked me out!!!!

Basia,
I can't wait to show my daughter and niece these shots. They absolutely love butterflies. These are gorgeous!
Thanks again!
